crochet baby sets (edisi syok sendiri:-)

Alhamdulillah, 2 baby sets for Kak Siti, my dearest customer has finished! Kak Siti let me decide on everything, from colours to design, thus made me syok sendiri this time~ 

 crochet set for baby boy; sweater, bib, booties, hat

I've never crocheted baby sweaters before, and I was like 'I wanna make this, I wanna make that..owh this is so cute..ahh this is cuter' and lastly, I ended up making a simple sweater like above, with some lady bug embellishments. It is simple yet very cute. I love the sweater so much and I hope Kak siti would love it too.

Cardigan, hat, booties, and mitten

I couldn't think of any colours other than pink, as pink is meant for girls, especially baby girls~

I love this set too. My mom and sister helped me to choose colours and we ended up combining pink with white and blue. I love the effect brought by the presence of blue! It makes the set look very cute, at least to my eyes:-)

As for the flower, I made similar flowers to my flower amigurumi, but I didn't stuff them.

I hope Kak Siti would love these 2 sets. Currently, I'm working on her crocheted pillow case and would share it here when it finish, insyaAllah..

crochet hook, anyone?

When I first have my crochet hook set, I was like in seventh heaven. I felt so happy and started working on projects that I couldn't do before. The crochet hooks are easy to use, very light, and colourful!! I started making wearable projects like hat and sweater and the outcomes are impressing! One of the projects which I love most is my cable vest.

Padahal kesahihannya saya pun tak pasti..

Saya termimpi-mimpikan cushion cover L for Love ini selama 3 hari berturut-turut. 

SAYA MAHUKAN CUSHION COVER INI KERANA saya mahu gantikan bantal peluk yang sedia ada. 

Sejak akhir-akhir ini, saya selalu mengalami mimpi buruk. Mimpi hantu, mimpi ditimpa kejadian tak diingini, mimpi dikejar lanun, mimpi terjatuh basikal, dan macam-macam lagi...

Kawan-kawan saya kata, itu effect dari corak pillow case yang saya guna sekarang. Corak skull yang memenuhi pillow case itu mungkin memberi impact yang buruk pada mimpi saya. Jadi, mereka sarankan agar saya mencari bantal baru. Saya rasa, kalaulah saya memeluk bantal yang bertemakan LOVE, mesti mimpi-mimpi saya yang mendatang hanya yang indah-indah belaka...

Alangkah indahnya tidur yang aman tanpa igauan mimpi ngeri dengan memeluk bantal L for Love..:-)

bag, colours, and cuteness

This bag is a second order from Ashikin, which is for her lovely sister. Her sister wants colourful striped sling bag with flowers and name. I guess this is by far the cutest bag I ever made:-)

this bag is so cute!! I would name it 'colours of love' (^_^)

I hope Ashikin's sister would like this bag. I'm sure she will look so sweet wearing this bag.

custom design bag

Yeayy, Adyla's pretty bag is finished! When I first saw her design, I knew that I won't accept it because the design is too difficult. It requires tapestry crochet technique from bottom to top. However, the design is too pretty and worth a try! So, I changed my mind short after that...

With the help of Knitpro, I managed to translate the design into crochet pattern. Read more about knitpro here. It's free! You can upload any pictures that you want and it will generate a graph of your picture in a split second. (I used to translate pictures using Myphotostitch, but it seems not working anymore)

Isn't it so pretty? I love her design so much. It looks like 'ADYLA' is a brand or something well-known. Don't you think so?

For the back, she wants a picture of music notes. Actually, her design is more complicated than this, but I changed it into something easier and makeable.

Lining part was very difficult too. Adyla wants a curved zipper closure that I never did before. Thank God, I have my mom who agreed to take over the lining process. Her work is awesomely awesome!
