Free Pattern: Broken Heart Amigurumi

Materials:

3 mm crochet hook

white yarn (medium size)

pink yarn (medium size)

stitch marker

polyester filling/ fibre

tapestry needle

scissors

Round 1: using pink yarns, work 7 SC in a magic circle (7 sc total)

"work in round" for each row, do not join/ slip stitch (picture 1)

Round 2: 2 SC in each SC (14 sc total)

Round 3: *1 SC, 2 SC* [repeat * 7 times] (21 sc total)

Round 4:  SC in each SC (21 sc total)

Round 5: *SC, SC, 2 SC* [repeat * 7 times] (28 sc total)

Round 6-11:  SC in each SC (28 sc total) 

Do not cut the yarn

Using white yarn, repeat Round 1-11 in (A), and continue with round 12.

Round 12: 14 SC, insert hook through the next stitch, pull the yarn through. there will be 2 loops on the hook. Then, pull PINK yarn over the loop and work 1 SC on the next stitch, continue with 25 SC, *insert hook through the next stitch, pull the yarn through (2 loops)*, pull WHITE yarn, **skip 1 stitch and work 1 SC on the next stitch**. 

Next, work 25 SC, repeat *. pull PINK yarn, and repeat ** (54 sc total)

there will be 2 skipped stitches in the middle

picture 2: insert hook, pull the yarn through. there will be 2 loops on the hook

picture 3:  pull PINK yarn over the loop 

picture 4: work 1 SC on the next stitch

picture 6: continue with 25 SC on pink, *insert hook through the next stitch, pull the yarn through (2 loops)*, pull WHITE yarn through the loop

Round 13: 23 SC on PINK, insert hook through the next stitch, pull the yarn through (2 loops), pull WHITE yarn, skip 1 stitch and work 1 SC on the next stitch, work 23 SC on WHITE, insert hook through the next stitch, pull the yarn through (2 loops), pull PINK yarn, skip 1 stitch and work 1 SC on the next stitch. (50 sc total)

4 stitches will be reduced in every round, because 2 stitches were skipped on each sides

stuffing as you go,

Round 14: Repeat round 13, replace 23 SC with 21 SC (46 sc total)

Round 15: Repeat round 13, replace 23 SC with 19 SC (42 sc total)

Round 16: Repeat round 13, replace 23 SC with 17 SC (38 sc total)

Round 17: Repeat round 13, replace 23 SC with 15 SC (34 sc total)

Round 18: Repeat round 13, replace 23 SC with 13 SC (30 sc total)

Round 19: Repeat round 13, replace 23 SC with 11 SC (26 sc total)

Round 20: Repeat round 13, replace 23 SC with 9 SC (22 sc total)

Round 21: Repeat round 13, replace 23 SC with 7 SC (18 sc total)

Round 22: Repeat round 13, replace 23 SC with 5 SC (14 sc total)

Round 23: Repeat round 13, replace 23 SC with 3 SC (10 sc total)

Round 24: Repeat round 13, replace 23 SC with 1 SC (8 sc total)

Cut yarn and sew yarn ends
