I started to make these bags since Raya Puasa. However they just finished recently :-)

The owners are crafter as well, I feel so honoured to be able to crochet for them

Tutorial: African Flower Bag

This is a tutorial on how to crochet an African Flower bag. There are 3 crucial steps to follow, 1-making flowers using flower loom, 2- making hexagon motifs with flower loom centre, and the final part is; 3- joining the hexagons together. African Flower Bag

These are bags that I made recently. have a look~

A very special bag

The owner had requested for a bag with the names of her family members. Isn't it so sweet? I'm sure she loves her family so much that she wants to see their names everyday. At first, she wants me to put the names in heart shapes, one each, but I know that would be very difficult. So, I told her that I won't be able to make the bag for her...

However, she said that she didn't mind if I alter the design she has made. So, I choose to make the one above, which is not easy though. There are lots of calculations needed and it took me days to finish the name part. At last, I managed to finish the bag, Alhamdulillah...:-)

colours are chosen by me. A sweet person like her deserves sweet colours too~

Red+black tote bag

These two bags are requested by two friends. They choose the colours themselves and let me decide the design. I hope they wouldn't compare the bags as both designs are different to each other.

My mom plays a major role in helping me assembling the flowers. What do you think of her touch? I couldn't think of any except for 'awesomeness'!

This bag is requested by Asyikin. She had asked for 3 themes: 'It's not gonna rain today', 'happy butterfly day', and 'love is in the air' plus lady bug and butterfly appliques. Ashikin had given me the authority to do whatever I think is best. Knowing that it would be awkward if I simply put all the themes together, I decided to alter the theme a bit by reducing the number of mini clothes (normally, I put 4), and assemble the crochet appliques differently on her tote bag.

Fatin's bag is finished! it is a combination of purple and yellow, and is exactly the same like Aida's tote that I've made before.

I used to hand sew all the linings but this time, I tried to sew using sewing machine. Thank god, it didn't turn the way I'd imagined it would be and in fact, it looks sturdier than the one hand-sewn...(plus it is faster and easier to do!-that's the point actually :-P)

Yeayy!!! Kak Azfahani's bag is finished:-)She had designed the bag herself but I've modified it a lil bit since it's not easy to find the colours of yarns for which she had asked for (lavender+soft apple green)..Alhamdulillah, She likes the bag very much, so do I~

the front view..Kak Azfahani wants a lot of flowers and leaves on her bag, so I've tried my best to arrange them beautifully on her tote..:-)

the back view..i like the design most! I reminds me to 'awan larat', an art that was introduced by my late grandmother when I was a child.. it's classic and simple, yet very pretty!
