Tutorial: How to make a pom pom

This is a tutorial on how to make a pompom using a pom pom maker

materials:

pom pom maker

yarns

scissors

pom pom maker, 4 sizes

In this tutorial I was using a pink pom pom maker, here we go!

1. wrap the arches. the thicker the better.

2. Cut the yarns at both sides

3. using a strand of yarn, wrap the pom pom maker

4. make double wrap, bring the yarn to top again

5. Tie a knot to secure

6.Pull the pompom maker apart, and DONE~

Tutorial: How to make a heart pom pom

This is a tutorial on how to make a heart shaped pompom using a pompom maker.

Materials:

heart shaped pom pom maker (large size)

any colour of yarns (you can use single colour if you want to)

scissors

1. get a heart shaped pom pom maker

2. Wrap the arch with yarns

3. wrap another arch, close the arches

4. Wrap the pompom maker with a strand of yarn. Make double wrap, start from top to bottom and then to top again.

5, 6. Overhand knot

7. cut in the notches for both left and right, front and back (4 cuts in total)

8. your pom pom will look like this

9. Trim the yarns in the centre for both left and right, front and back

10. after trimming, your pompom will look like this

11. pull the pompom maker apart, and finish the knot

12. trim the pom pom for better outcome. DONE~
