Tutorial: loom knit teddy bear (english)



Part 1: body
Part 2: hand
Part 3: head
Part 4: leg

material: 
martha stewart loom kit /any types of looms
medium sized yarns
crochet hook 5.00 mm
tapestry needle
fabric for lining (optional)
polyester filling

Part 1: body (56 pegs)


e- wrap using white yarns (22 rows)
e-wrap using blue yarns (4 rows)
e-wrap  using yellow yarns (10 rows)
5 rows of colour changing (link of how to change colour here )
continue e- wrap using yellow yarn (15 rows)
cast off

secure the bottom part with crochet
Round 1: SC in all stitches
Round 2: 10 SC, sc2tog, repeat
Round 3: 9 SC, sc2tog, repeat
Round 4: 8 SC, sc2tog, repeat
Round 5: 7 SC, sc2tog, repeat
Round 6: 6 SC, sc2tog, repeat
Round 7: 5 SC, sc2tog, repeat
Round 8: 4 SC, sc2tog, repeat
Round 9: 3 SC, sc2tog, repeat
Round 10: 2 SC, sc2tog, repeat
Round 11: 1 SC, sc2tog, repeat
Round 12: sc2tog across, repeat

optional: sew lining and stuff with polyester filling prior to insertion



Part 2: hand (24 pegs)


e- wrap using yellow yarns (26 rows)
e-wrap using blue yarns (4 rows)
e-wrap using lolipop yarns(12 rows)
cast off (gathered method)


optional: sew lining and stuff with polyester filling


Part 3: head (56 pegs)



e- wrap using cream yarns (32 rows)
cast off

Top part: secure with crochet
Round 1: SC in all stitches
Round 2: 10 SC, sc2tog, repeat
Round 3: 9 SC, sc2tog, repeat
Round 4: 8 SC, sc2tog, repeat
Round 5: 7 SC, sc2tog, repeat
Round 6: 6 SC, sc2tog, repeat
Round 7: 5 SC, sc2tog, repeat
Round 8: 4 SC, sc2tog, repeat
Round 9: 3 SC, sc2tog, repeat
Round 10: 2 SC, sc2tog, repeat
Round 11: 1 SC, sc2tog, repeat
Round 12: sc2tog across, repeat

Nose:
Using blue yarns,
Round 1: 6 sc
Round 2 : 2sc in each sc (12 sc)
Round 3: sc, 2sc, repeat 5 times (18 sc)
Round 4: sc, sc, 2sc (24 sc)
Round 5: sc, sc, sc, 2sc (30 sc)
Round 6: sc, sc, sc, sc, 2sc (36 sc)
Round 7 : sc, sc, sc, sc, sc, 2sc (42 sc)
Round 8: sc, sc, sc, sc, sc, sc, 2sc (48 sc)
Round 9: sc, sc, sc, sc, sc, sc, sc, 2sc (54 sc)
Round 10: sc in each sc (54 sc)

Ears:
Using lolipop yarns,
Round 1: 4 sc, turn
Round 2 : 2sc in each sc, turn (8 sc)
Round 3: sc, 2sc, repeat 3 times, turn (12 sc)
Round 4: sc, sc, 2sc, repeat 3 times, turn (16 sc)
Round 5: sc in each sc, turn (16 sc)
Round 6: sc, sc, sc, 2sc, repeat 3 times, turn (20 sc)
change yarn colour - cream
Round 7 : sc in each sc, turn (20 sc)
Round 8: sc, sc, sc, sc, 2sc, repeat 3 times, turn (24 sc)
Round 9: sc in each sc, turn  (24 sc)
Round 10: sc, sc, sc, sc, sc, 2sc, repeat 3 times, turn  (28 sc)
Round 11: sc in each sc (28 sc)
bind off

sew both ears and nose to head

Eyes:
using tapestry needle, sew eyes


Part 4: leg (32 pegs)



e- wrap using lolipop yarns (15 rows)
e-wrap using blue yarns (20 rows)
knit the heel part, using 16 pegs 
(link to make the heel part)
continue e-wrap using blue yarns (17 rows)
cast off

make another one


optional: sew lining and stuff with polyester filling prior to insertion

Align all parts and sew them together
start sewing body to head, then the hands, and lastly, the legs


Jacket and short pants

pattern from here


short pants pattern:

chain 90
Round 1: 90 sc
Round 2- 8: 90 dc
Round 9-14: 13 dc, turn

the other side:
43 sc, turn
dc2tog, 39 dc, dc2tog, turn
dc2tog, 37 dc, dc2tog, turn   
dc2tog, 35 dc, dc2tog, turn
attach to the front part,
work 2 rows of sc around the hole 

DONE~!!
